Running is the fastest way to get fit, whether you want to race competitively or pick a fun run out it's important to have a goal. If you are a Multi-sport athlete it is essential to work on your run leg if you want to be competitive. We can help you with your Training and Racing goals.

TRAINING

MA has access to 3 training sessions per week:

Tuesday- 6:30-7:30pm Princess Park

Thursday- 6:30-7:30pm Princess Park

Sunday- 8am Studley Park Boathouse

The Sunday run is sometimes at a different venue for variety, keep an eye on the weekly 'Vigor Update' email for details. If you don't receive this email, let Liam know.

RACING

Besides fun runs the running scene in Melbourne is focused around the state body Athletics Victoria (AV), it offers a summer and winter competition. Speak with Liam about how this works

A smaller winter competition worth getting involved with if you want to make running your focus in a more social but still competitive setting is the Associated Public Schools APS

The website with the best calendar of events is Cool Runnings but feel free to talk to Liam about your next goal as the Vigor Running group will generally look forwards to a goal event together.
